Water Lilies

Monet through all his life painted a series of approximately 250 oil paintings depicting water lilies and his flower garden at Giverny. It was the main focus of his artistic production during the last thirty years of his life. On the art market Monet's water lilies paintings are very, very expensive - in 2007, one painting was sold for £18.5 million. In 2008 another was sold for almost £41 million. I envy those private collectors so much!
