Until March 11th every Tuesday and Saturday we will show you the works of contemporary Polish artists that are now displayed in "As You Can See" exhibition at MoMA Warsaw. We hope it will be a new, but pleasurable and interesting experience for you. Enjoy!

Igor Omulecki – born 1973 in Łόdź, lives and works in Warsaw. Camera operator, photographer. Blending two traditional photographic genres – documentary and artistic, creating autobiographic series and returning to cinematic techniques, Omulecki redefines the medium of photography. The photographs presented at the exhibition, from the series Herd Wave, document the artist’s family experience, related to awaiting the birth of his first-born. The cosmic landscapes are, perhaps, an attempt to take up existential themes, or perhaps no more than ironic. Above all, however, they are photographic tricks, documenting the visual experiments that Omulecki conducts in his own kitchen. Clouds and a starry sky have been magicked out of steam and sugar spilt on the kitchen table.
