Antibes, the Pink Cloud

Signac loved three things depicted here: clouds (pink ones included), water and sailing. When the war in 1914 began he moved to Antibes, a resort town in southeastern France. If you look closer on the right line of horizon you'll see… German gunships, spewing purplish smoke.
