Arcimboldo was an Italian painter who worked for the Habsburgs, one of the most powerful royal houses. He is best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made up of different objects: fruits, vegetables, flowers, etc. He was loved by his contemporaries and admired still to this day for his great imagination.
