Gabrielle Renard and Jean

Gabrielle was a nanny of Renoir's son, Jean and a frequent model for the artist. She became a strong influencer for little Jean who later became a famous film director. Gabrielle was fascinated by the new motion picture invention and when Jean was only a few years old, she took him to see his first film.
