Yes, today for you we have a Pre-Raphaelite wombat with a pyramid in the background.

In 1857 Dante Gabriel Rossetti, a Pre-Raphaelite painter, received a commission. The goal was to decorate the vaulted ceiling, upper walls, and windows of the library of the Oxford Union. Rossetti quickly gathered a group of friends who were supposed to help him, which included Edward Burne-Jones. It is hard to track why, but during the work the artists started to draw numerous wombats in the whitewash. Now they are all covered by the frescoes but this small sketch of a wombat by Burne-Jones remained. And we present it today. It is not a joke; it is a piece of art created by a well known artist.

We hope you like wombats too.

P.S. And here's everything you need to know about the Pre-Raphaelites' obsession with wombats and the story of Rossetti's wombat, Top.  <3
