Let's move back to warm Summer days!

Pierre Bonnard was a French painter, illustrator, and printmaker; he was celebrated for the decorative, highly stylized qualities of his work, as well as his bold, expressive use of color. As a founding member of Les Nabis, a group of post-Impressionist avant-garde painters, Bonnard’s early work was shaped by the influence of Paul Gauguin and Japanese artists such as Hokusai.

Bonnard painted a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, urban scenes, portraits, and intimate domestic interiors, often privileging color, pattern, and painterly texture over strict representation. His paintings possess a unique charm that cannot be mistaken for any other artist.
