Temporary (con) Temporary

This piece of art is part of our "DailyArt presents MOCAK collection" project. Twice a week throughout the entire month, we will present pieces of contemporary art from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cracow, Poland. We hope you will like it! 

In this work, the artist covered the floor with a thick layer of Pearl adhesive, which, once dry, created dramatic, cosmic landscapes. Their fragments were photographed, and three quarters of their paper prints additionally developed with a torch, making each print unique. Black, dominant in the composition, draws one into an abyss. The artist seems to be searching for a fatalistic symbol in the abstract chaos we create around us.
