The problem with this masterpiece is that every year its attribution changes. Giorgione and Titian were Renaissance painters from Venice, who were hanging out together and painting in the similar manner. However, unfortunately, Giorgione died at a very young age leaving few (but mysterious!) paintings. The subject here may be the allegory of poetry and music.
